Technological Innovations for Agricultural Production from an Environmental Perspective: A Review
Summary. Digital technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, drones, and IoT applications improve agricultural sustainability by optimizing soil and water management while reducing agrochemical use and pollution. However, a significant gap exists between developed and developing nations in adopting these tools. Latin America particularly lags behind Asia, Europe, and North America in agricultural digitalization, limiting rural populations' access to efficiency gains and sustainable farming practices.
