Research on the resilience of renewable energy in rural areas—Based on the data from Shandong Province
Summary. Rural energy systems in Shandong Province suffer from high carbon intensity, low efficiency, and supply instability. Using GIS mapping and biomass resource modeling, researchers identified four regional renewable energy types and designed differentiated development strategies: dual-resource areas should combine solar and biomass, photovoltaic zones should add storage and hydrogen, biomass-led regions should expand cogeneration, and resource-scarce areas need grid electricity and efficiency improvements. Coordinating multiple energy sources improves stability and resilience.
